After three incredibly wonderful girls, God has blessed our family with our very own baby boy! As a photographer, I couldn't wait for the chance to document his birth through pictures.
This is a true story worth sharing. :-).
Adam's Birth Story
Angela & Roland's Baby Shower
I arrived at the venue ready to capture memories of Angela and Roland's baby shower! There, in the middle of the room, Angela glowed gracefully with her white maternity dress while dad to be, Roland, mingled with the guests but stayed nearby.
The place was filled with laughter and joy as we all were in celebration of the expecting arrival of baby Emmanuel! Even other babies were in awe that day.
Family and friends chatted with each other, laughed and pointed as the festivities brought those who were there together. The feeling was electric. This pregnancy was an answered prayer - their first one! You can tell that everyone that was there, the immediate family and those of us who make up the rest of their extended family circle, were genuinely happy and so excited for mom and dad.
One of the really impressive observations I had that day was that Angela and Roland have tremendously loyal and loving friends. The unity and the camaraderie was so sincere and the love was so palpable. I only wish that more of us have as many genuine and warm friends as this couple. They were all amazing!
Speaking of friendships, Roland had one of his childhood brothers play some cultural drums for the couple; a blessing for the soon arriving Emmanuel!
Sometime later that afternoon, the gorgeous parents-to-be took their time to thank their love ones for the joy that everyone brought to the Baby Shower! Heartfelt and endearing, we were grateful to have been invited to celebrate this exciting season with them.
As I look over these photographs and moments captured, I can't help to thank the Lord that my childhood brother and his beloved wife are in good hands!

Mei-Ling's Maternity Session
Congratulations to Mei-Ling, an incredible young woman and beautiful mom-to-be!
You can see the the glow on Mei-Ling's face! She's incredibly overtaken by the joy in expectation of her first born son!
Mei-Ling is a hardworking young woman who came to me in hopes of capturing this time of her life. With the help of her mother, we set up the in studio session with her husband, Will, to capture this seemingly long, yet fleeting season of pregnancy!
Mei-Ling and Will were naturals. Flowing with every suggestion from me, they trooped the hour plus session. Mei-Ling even rocked some high-powered heels in several poses with smiles and fierce expressions.
Truly nothing beats seeing the joy and the hope of a pregnant woman. She carried that belly with such grace and admiration. Mei-Ling is just a few short weeks of her due date. Heavy with child, she posed and stood with pride and happiness.
Mei-Ling chose to have prints and a photo book of her maternity session. Soon we will welcome the young prince into our world. And one day he will see just how joyous his mom was to have carried him in her womb.

Jennifer's Maternity Session
Ten years and several months ago, Jennifer gave birth to our first born. Within that time frame God has blessed us with two more children. All daughters.
We have been thoroughly blessed with the gift of our girls, but every so often people would ask us - more like tell us, "When is your boy coming?" Well, God has yet again shown Himself gracious to us and we are now expecting our own baby boy! Our fourth and ... final child.
Jennifer is an incredible woman! She has shown true grace and patience while being the mother of our children. Her motherhood has taught me so many lessons in poise and elegance; I wanted to capture that in this session.
In every pregnancy, there is expectancy: life, future, joy, happiness, and a sense that newness is on its way. And this pregnancy, again, testifies of that fact.
