THE PRIMARY QUESTION: Why should we hire you for our wedding?

Your wedding will be one of the grandest days of your life and, if we’re honest, one that you hope can never be as well as will never be repeated. Because of this, we take it as a huge honor to be photographing your wedding preparations and celebrations. We will take care of you as close friends and family and as a distinguished clients. My desire is to wow you and make you feel really good that you hired me and my company.

Your wedding day is not a trial run for us, but it’s also not “just another” wedding. I will approach your wedding with a sincere desire to tell your love story like no other. You can be confident that your photos will be uniquely yours. It’s also a very rare occasion that something surprises us, but since we are very creative, we can adapt in a moments notice.

I have an advantage over other photographers: I’m a registered officiant of NYC and have officiated over 2 dozen weddings prior to becoming a wedding photographer. Because of this, I am able to handle the pace of your wedding like very few can; I can coordinate with wedding planners and other vendors to make your wedding day flow; I deal with large crowds easily with a smile; and I can even assist your bridal party in where they should be or what comes next in your wedding. AND if you’re spiritual, I can even pray with you all and calm your nerves throughout the day.

Should something “terrible” happen during your day i.e. sun doesn’t come out, it starts raining cats and dogs, the lights go out on your venues, there are no “beautiful” areas to take photos; you don’t have to worry. You will get beautiful photos that will showcase your love affair. My role is to get and create for you outstanding photos and take that stressful part out of your mind. Your ease of mind is one of our top objectives, so you can enjoy your day as you wish.

COVERAGE + RATES

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST US?
Booking rates and fees are not readily available online because certain things may affect the rate. Although my pricing is structured, I do accommodate most of my client’s budgeting needs and normally create a collection that will be suit your needs. So, yes, a custom collection can be done for you with just coverage hours or with wall decor and table top products for your memories. How much you spend is solely up to you so don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss your needs today. As for the payment method, cash is best, but I do receive most payment methods including online payments.

DO YOU TRAVEL?
We travel in the continental USA. I presently do not travel outside of the US, I’m so sorry. The travel fees are determined by how far your destination will be and how long we will be there. For the most part, if air, hotel and car accommodations are needed, all you have to cover is the cost of such. There is no “surcharge” from me. If you’re within driving distance, then expect that travel to be part of your commission rate. I don’t mind traveling 8-10 hours for your wedding, your reimbursement for gas and hotel (so that I can be there a day before your wedding date) is all you need to consider.

DO YOU WORK WITH OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?
Do you need another photographer to cover the groom prep? Or extra photographers because your wedding is larger than usual?
I am able to provide second or third photographers who are professional who run their own professional businesses. These photographers are vetted personally by me and can work on their own if need be. I will always have an assistant to help me set up lights, run some errands, etc; but when you want another vantage point or need one a photographer in two or three different places at the same time, then I got you covered. Depending on your chosen collection, a second photographer may already if a part of your package. Your complimentary engagement session will always be done by me.

DO YOU OFFER ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS?
If you commission me as your wedding photographer, you get a complimentary engagement session. (Click here to find out why it’s a good thing.) The engagement sessions are done for several reasons, the number one being for you to get comfortable with me and for me to learn about you more as a couple. We will set up a date that is most convenient for both of us. The session last between 1-2 hours. We will then set up a time for us to go over the photos together, talk about what we did right and what we can do better. I will post my faves and you can share that, too. You’re welcome to purchase any products for any of the photos we take on this session, if you so desire.

DO YOU EDIT ALL THE PHOTOS?
I edit, color correct and crop all the photos I will present for your viewing. I and the team normally take thousands of photos throughout your day. I then take the time editing/culling the photos to the best ones. Then I take several more passes through the photos to get the best of those. From the best of the best, you then get to choose your favorites according to the number we discussed during our booking/commissioning consultation. I do select several photos that I make finer edits to. I call them the “hero” photos. And, I go even more in depth for the portraits you have purchased to display on your walls or on your tables (i.e. wall portraits and albums).

DO WE GET ALL THE PHOTOS YOU TAKE?
I wouldn’t do that to you. Clients like yourself hire me to make sure they get professional photos not just snapshots of your wedding day. I consider it part of being a professional photographer to provide for you what I believe is the best of the best and not bog you down with extra photos that are pretty much copies of one photo. Like I mentioned above, my team and I will create thousands of images that night that I will review with a skill and heart. My task is to make sure you get to see the full story of your day without the clutter. Trust that you will see only professional photos from us. I do offer video for those times you need a frame-by-frame and audio capture to tell the story you want told.

DO WE GET COPYRIGHTS?
It’s a popular question. Many photographers extend a “copyrights release” to their clients; what they’re saying is that clients get the right to print and post their photos in any way they can and whichever photo lab they chose. That’s not the same as obtaining copyright of the photos received. “Copyright” is actually about who created the photos. Because I created the photos we take, I own the copyrights. Selling or obtaining copyrights is not possible, but you do have “print” rights to the photos you purchase and print or share the photos as much as you like.

DO I GET WATERMARKED PHOTOS?
They will not. Your delivered, high resolution images will not have a watermark (logo branding) from me. They will be ready for you to print and post to your delight.

DO YOU OFFER VIDEO SERVICES?
Yes, I do! In fact if you hire me for video and photography, you’ll receive a combination rate that will make your budget happier. I work with top, professional videographers that I vet myself. They work under my guidance and we cohesively capture your story as a unit.
